Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing academic programs, curriculum development, faculty management, and ensuring the quality of education, aligning with RCU strategic goals and vision.He also provides leadership to faculty, staff, and students while collaborating with other leaders to develop strategic plans and initiatives that advance academic excellence.
He will manage and allocate resources effectively to meet the educational and operational needs of the institute’s programs and activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee academic programs and curriculum in accordance with the institute's mission and goals
- Coordinate and implement policies and procedures related to academic affairs.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure quality academic experiences for students.
- Lead efforts to promote academic excellence and innovation.
- Manage academic budgets and resources.
- Oversee academic services, such as tutoring, academic advising, and career development.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulations.
- Represent the institution at academic conferences and events.
- Contribute to faculty development, and performance evaluation, fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.
- Coordinate with industry partners to enhance students' employment opportunities.
- Assist in assessing and improving the institute's programs through data analysis, feedback collection, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Represent the institute in various internal and external meetings, events, and collaborations.
- Contribute to the development of research and innovation initiatives within educational fields, fostering a culture of scholarly engagement.
- Support faculty and staff in fostering an inclusive, innovative, and student-cantered learning environment.
- Uphold the institution's values, policies, and ethical standards in all interactions and decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education management or relevant subject area.
- Non-native English speakers must have a minimum score of 7.5 in IELTS Academic or an equivalent.
- Other professional certification is desirable.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years’ senior management/leadership experience in post- secondary, technical and/or vocational (TVET) sectors.
- Experienced in managing complex records systems and developing computer systems to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
- Prior experience in KSA or the GCC is preferred.
Location:
AlUla Province – Saudi Arabia.
