Senior Assessment Specialist

The Senior Assessment Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating assessment activities, ensuring the effective implementation of assessment processes, analyzing assessment results, and driving continuous improvement within established policies, procedures, and quality standards. The role provides contributes to the development and enhancement of assessment methodologies, tools, and processes.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Assessments Development & Execution

1.1 Assessments Development  

§ Ensure that the appropriate methods and techniques are identified for the type of evaluation, to test evaluation techniques and methods, to ensure their efficiency.

§ Review the risks of evaluation techniques such as managing the question bank.

§ Review the assessment and orientation process plan to make the required changes, and analysing the outputs of each evaluation process before moving on to the next process

§ Lead the design and development of assessment tools in collaboration with external partners and internal evaluation teams, ensuring alignment with training objectives and professional standards. 

§ Identify technical and logistical needs for assessments and develop suitable methodologies according to the nature of training programs. 

§ Prepare project plans for assessment development and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure effective and timely execution.

1.2 Assessments Execution

§ Oversee the plan for implementing the assessments and ensuring its compatibility with the internal plan for implementing the tests

§ Supervise the requirements for assessment platforms and other technical requirements for the department

§ Manage the assessment platform for optimal performance, utilizing advanced skills and quickly learning new systems. 

§ Supervise the assessment technical support team or project’s team as per direction.

1.3 Data Analysis and Reporting 

§   Analyse exam results using advanced analytical tools, providing insights and recommendations based on the findings. 

§   Prepare final reports, monitoring reports, visit reports, and present them to management for informed decision-making. 

§   Review and improve assessment processes based on analysis results and continuous evaluations to ensure quality and ongoing improvement. 

1.4 Leadership and Development 

·         Supervise field teams and external centres, providing ongoing support and training. 

·         Participate in developing policies and procedures related to assessment processes to ensure compliance with best practices and international standards. 

QUALIFICATION AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

§ Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration or other relevant fields.

§ Professional Certificate in Education and Training Management is a plus.

§ 8 Years of experience in Training/ Education Field.

§ 4 Years of experience in relevant position.
