IT Instructor - Part time - AlUla

Job Summary:

The IT Instructor is responsible to the director of operations for the effective delivery of the College's IT program and curricula in line with the College’s strategic priorities and objectives.

Will design and deliver instructional materials for IT, ensuring alignment with the College program objectives, teaching students the fundamental principles of IT and other relevant subjects.

Will employ student-centred teaching methodologies, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning experience, and adapt teaching techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•     Plan and organise lessons, workshops, and practical exercises that cover a range of IT topics and skills.

•     Foster a hands-on and interactive learning environment, providing real-world examples and case studies.

• Incorporate modern teaching methods and technology tools to enhance student engagement and understanding.

•     Evaluate students' progress through assessments, assignments, projects, and examinations.

•    Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, supporting their academic growth and skill development.

•  Make effective use of e learning technology within and outside of the classroom to support learning

•   Encourage students to develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities relevant to IT challenges.

• Establish and maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that values diverse perspectives.

•     Promote ethical behaviour, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible use of technology.

•     Participate in development activities and continuously enhance teaching methods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computing from a recognized university or institution.
• Must have a good level of English Language.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching IT to post-secondary students and older in an educational organization.

• Strong knowledge and expertise in the specific vocational field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan, develop, and deliver effective vocational training programs.
• Patience and understanding when working with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using technology and different instructional methods.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Passion for teaching and helping others succeed in their chosen vocation.
